Two weeks to go…

Dear friends,

as you’ll realise, our release party in Ekko is only two weeks away now! Since our last update, we have received the records and have started to distribute them amongst the backers of our crowdfunding project. Here you can see our dear friend and audio engineer Sam holding his hard-earned copy of the record:

It has turned out really nice! In the 12″ format, Olschinsky’s artwork really shines!

More news: we’ve added a show to our agenda. On November 13th we’ll play the Simplon in Groningen, and we are very much looking forward to rocking them there people up North again…

Take care,

Dudes & dudettes,

Since mid-May, we have been breaking down the final barrier separating us from the realization of our debut. The icing on the cake of the creative process was the artwork. We are very, very, VERY happy with the beautiful work done by Atelier Olschinsky. Big thumbs up for Verena Weiss!

Now, everything is ready to be transformed into something physical. For this final step¬†we’ve set up a crowdfunding project to generate the necessary¬†resources. Through the website voordekunst you can pre-order the album. In addition to¬†the album we’re offering a limited set of extras. Although we’ve passed the 90% mark of our goal, there’s still plenty of time to order some Woods on Fire goodness and support us in getting all this amazing stuff¬†to you, the people…

Thank you for your patience and support!

Go to the Woods on Fire crowdfunding page!

New shows!

Hey there!

It’s been awful quiet around these parts… But not to worry, there’s all kinds of goodness on the horizon! For starters, we’ve added 4 new shows to our agenda with more to follow. Worth mentioning is the Stukafest gig, next week, on February the 11th. We’ll do a one-off living room show in Utrecht. Not stripped down, no acoustic songs, the full force of the live show contained in a small room at the IBB complex. We’ll bring earplugs for everybody. It’ll be special, that’s for sure… See you there! More info here.

KtH premieres ‘Bird Migration’

Head on over to Kicking the Habit to listen to a track from our upcoming album! They also offer some kind words on us and our music. It’s in Dutch, though. If you don’t speak Dutch; it basically says that they think we’re awesome. :-)

Also the track has been added to our Bandcamp page, so next time you wanna hear it just go here, or click the ‘Music’ button at the top of this page.

In the meantime we’ve been editing the video and audio from last week’s shoot. There should be some goodness to share with you all very, very soon….
